December 2022, during a road trip to Mount Whitney (4417 meters) I found myself stuck in traffic due to road works. I was near Lone Pine and to my right were the Sierras, this majestic mountain range, 400 miles long, running through California. This momentary stop was the perfect opportunity for me to get out of the car and capture what is now one of my favorite images!
